WBRU Concert Series: Ben Folds
September 26th, 2008I had the pleasure of attending WBRU’s presentation of Ben Folds with Missy Higgins opening at the Bank of America Skate Center. It was a great night! Rain had been forecasted, but luckily all we got was chilly weather.
I’d never heard Missy Higgins and was completely blown away by her vocals. What an amazing voice! And of course, Ben Folds was pretty awesome. It’s the kind of music I can appreciate so much more when it’s live.
The icing on the cake, however, was getting to photograph the event for the radio station. It totally rocks to be an intern at WBRU! I even got a nifty media pass for Ben Folds. It’s the first time I get to officially photograph a national act… that was really cool!
